2.) Nutmeg Factories
Grenada is famous for its spices. Thus, you will definitely want to see how nutmeg is processed and learn how the spices are made. Nutmeg plantations, as well as cocoa plantations are always part of any tourist’s itinerary, and the guided tours are simply fascinating and informative.
3.) National parks
Over a period of more than ten years, Grenada’s national parks were slowly cultivated to protect their rainforests first and foremost. Now, these national parks also protect the coral reefs and the entire ecosystem. Here, you will get to see the famous oyster patches which are definitely something you would want to see.
4.) Hiking
Whether you’re ready for a full hiking workout or a short trek, you can always try the famous Mount Sinai. Here, you can also see its beautiful lake right in its crater. Plus, you will surely get to see the native floras and faunas of Guatemala.
5.) Toss a coin, make a wish
First-time visitors and even those who have been in Grenada once before always make it a point to throw a coin in the fountain found in the hot springs of the Sallee River. Here, they make a wish. Others claim that visiting the spring is also something sacred for them.
6.) Water sports
Whether you want to rub elbows with fishes by snorkeling or go deep down and dive, Grenada beaches are also perfect for your favorite water sports not just for tanning and partying. A good place to snorkel, too, is the marine park White Island. Be amazed of the myriad varieties of Guatemala’s marine animals.
7.) Caribbean Carnival
One more reason to visit Grenada is its wild and lively carnival held every year in the third quarter. Street dancing, shows, bands among other things are always a part of Grenada carnivals. This is a good way to relax and take in the country’s rich culture.
8.) Museum of Carriacou
Don’t ever leave any place you’re visiting for the first time without at least seeing one of its museums. The Carriacou Museum houses some of the most fascinating relics and works of art from the American Indian peoples. This works of arts date as far back as the time the island fell under France and British rule.
9.) Fort George
This military edifice was made popular in history not only because it is the first ever built fort in the island but because it was missed by an American bomb back in the early 1980’s. Unfortunately, this is also where then Prime Minister Bishop was killed by an assassin. Because of its history, it has become one of the tourist destinations in the country.
10.) Mount Rich
If you love uncovering ancient artifacts or at least being surrounded by it in the exact place they were discovered is an exciting experience, you shouldn’t miss Mount Rich in Grenada. You will also see stone carvings of the ancient American Indian race. What other great way to know of Guatemala’s history than this?

The Caribbean offers some of the best all inclusive vacations found anywhere. In fact the number of all inclusive Caribbean vacations is actually in excess of those based on a bed and breakfast basis. Some believe it is in order to attract more visitors the islands of the Caribbean; but there is no evidence however, that their popularity has grown specifically because of this move.
The most plausible explanation is the fact that for many people who want to travel to these islands, all inclusive Caribbean vacations packages are very good value for money; the amount of spending money required is minimal, a fact that is not missed by families. There are even specialist packages, so it doesn’t matter what your interest or requirements are you can guarantee they will be met. Many people traveling to the islands are returning to see family and not so much is needed; they usually only need to pay for flights, but not accommodation or activities.
It is one of those destinations where it an all inclusive Caribbean vacation option is the most affordable. Many tour operators offering this facility will have options of cheaper transportation and accommodation than would otherwise be accessible to the independent traveler. Of course travelers who like to arrange everything them self, would not consider such an option even if the vacation were ‘to die for’. Even after all this time it is surprising how many people do not actually know what an all inclusive vacation actually includes.
Room costs will always been included in every rate quoted for a vacation, but that’s the only constant between every package. For example, all food, even snacks are part of the arrangement with this type of vacation; some deals only include a breakfast each day. Surprisingly, there are still a number of people that believe that a full board vacation is the same as an all inclusive one.
Simply put, a full board hotel arrangement means that you will be supplied with three meals each day whilst an all inclusive Caribbean vacation resort will supply all food at any time (including snacks) and the same for drink as well; alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Many vacation packages may include vouchers or discounts for activities that visitors can participate in; normally there will be an additional (usually lower) cost attached nevertheless. Most all inclusive Caribbean vacations will however, normally include all these as part of the package; in fact you will be hard pushed to find events and situations where you will need money, which means you are able to enjoy more without the worry of additional cost.
If you are looking for a vacation with a difference then you really need to book a Caribbean cruise; what better way to spend time is there than visiting some of the most beautiful islands anywhere. What more could you want, with a complete program of daily activities on board the cruise liner, entertainment every evening and the wonderful beaches and islands of the Caribbean. Vacations can be for extended period and it is up to your budget, choice of locations and preferences, ranging from as little as three days up to fourteen days or more.
The great thing about cruising is that these ships have immense experience in catering for just about all tastes so whether you just want to relax on the deck or want a full itinerary of events, they will be able to supply exactly what you want. If anything, you will have a hard time keeping up with everything that you can possibly do on a cruise liner.
Research is the key here if you want something that matches your interests so pay a visit to your local tour agents and find out more about what’s available. Caribbean cruises travel to most parts of the world, but with different price packages for each itinerary together with the duration and the number of places visited.
Many cruise vacations cater more for adults and the activities include discos, late night entertainment, casinos and shows with daytime events to challenge those with an excess of energy. Don’t forget that more and more information is put online these days and whilst the travel agent will be helpful, there is every chance you can take a virtual tour of the Caribbean cruise ships if you visit the website directly.
The main difference with this type of vacation is the number of changes of clothing you take with you as there is a greater opportunity to dress for evening functions. There are more formal evenings where women will to have take evening gowns and men will need a tuxedo as you may be invited to the captains table.
Don’t worry if you are uncertain about taking your children along on a cruise vacations because there will be plenty for them to do without you needing to be close at hand, watching over them. A wide variety of activities are planned for them so that you can spend the time to do what you like; trained staff will look after them so you can put your mind at ease while you are enjoying and relaxing with your spouse.
Couples can take a romantic Caribbean cruise vacation and you will have the holiday you look forward to on a vacation vessel that is for adults only. There is no end to what you can actually request on your cruise liner vacation so if you have just got married or are celebrating your fiftieth wedding anniversary, something special can be arranged.
A Caribbean cruise vacation is the ideal venue for singles, couples and for families as everyone is looked after with a multitude of activities available; no-one ever feels left out.
